Heatrae Sadia is demonstrating its confidence in the integrity of Megaflo HE's internal stainless steel cylinder by introducing a lifetime guarantee. The company is the only manufacturer in the UK to offer this type of guarantee on an unvented cylinder.
Megaflo HE remains the strong market leader in the unvented sector, despite increased competition from other manufacturers. The product, which is unique in the market because of its internal expansion air gap and floating baffle system, has always been renowned for high quality, durability and trouble-free operation, and previously had a 25-year guarantee.
Heatrae Sadia is now offering a lifetime guarantee on Megaflo HE's internal cylinder* including labour. In the unlikely event that a leak caused by a manufacturing defect should occur, the product will be replaced free-of-charge by an engineer from Heatrae Sadia's service division, heateam.
The heateam after sales service has the resources available to deal with call-outs swiftly, with all 259 engineers being trained on unvented cylinders. Nationwide technical and service support is also available seven days a week, 363 days a year, providing advice, assistance and product guidance if required.
Manufactured from high-grade Duplex stainless steel, Megaflo HE has high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, fatigue and erosion, and, as a result, doesn't require a protective coating or a sacrificial anode.
For longer life, each cylinder undergoes comprehensive, state-of-the-art post weld treatments. Not all manufacturers carry out this important process, but Heatrae Sadia believes it's vital to ensure cylinders remain strong, and has invested millions of pounds in its post weld facilities.

The lifetime guarantee also covers the Megaflo Solar cylinder, which can be used in conjunction with the flat plate solar collectors and evacuated tube systems now available for the UK market, and Megaflo Systemfit, where models are pre-plumbed and pre-wired to offer simplified on-site installation and consistent electrical and plumbing layout.
