Designed for new build or renovation projects

Solar thermal water heating is becoming increasingly more affordable, making it a real alternative to traditional hot water systems with all the benefits of reduced energy bills and improved environmental benefits.

In-roof solar thermal collector panels are mounted on to the framework of the roof structure, so is better suited to new build or major renovation projects as retrofit may require significant modification to the roof structure, but the alternative would be our on-roof solar collectors (link) for built properties.

Our solar thermal collectors absorb direct and diffused radiation from the sun. Whilst in the summer months as much as 100% of energy required to heat domestic hot water can be generated with our solar thermal collectors, in contrast over the winter months this might usually be around 30%, but when averaged throughout the year our solar packages provide a highly attractive 50-60% of your annual hot water requirements from solar gain.
