Our Commitment to Energy and Sustainability
In January 2015, we we're awarded the prestigious accreditation of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 50001, a world recognised standard of energy use across our business operations.
Certified companies must create and maintain a management system that demonstrates that they can measure and monitor their energy consumption and use action plans to actively improve energy efficiency. The framework of requirements includes setting targets and using data to better understand and make decisions about energy use, creating a continual culture of improvement.
We now hold four internationally recognised standards, having already achieved ISO9001 for quality management, ISO14001 for environmental impact and OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health & Safety.

Investors in People
The Investors in People framework reflects the latest workplace trends, leading practices and employee conditions required to create high performing teams. The framework is constantly updated and reviewed by world leading academics, practitioners and industry experts to equip businesses with the ingredients of success.
During the assessment our business was evaluated on our corporate social responsibility practices (both in and outside the workplace) as well as our current people management skills.
Investors in People practitioners were given access to our day to day operation conducted interviews with a variety of colleagues around the business, concluding that we had the right level of process and practice to be accredited with Investors in People Core Standard and that we hold the required values and principles to reflect a globally recognised standard in people management.
So what does this mean for the business?
By reaching the Investors in People Core Standard it means that we have been able to benchmark ourselves against some of the best organisations in the world, ensuring we are united when building on principles and practices that really work.
The assessment process has also allowed us to identify strengths and weaknesses to ensure we strive for continuous improvement within our workplace.
Research also shows the Investors in People organisations are more profitable, sustainable and optimistic about the future.
